Two versions of the same song by the Orquesta Típica argentina Bianco Bachicha. "Plegaria" was a famous tango in the late 20s, unfortunately it has a dark side since it became the song chosen by ferman troops to be played in nazi concentration camps before an execution. Due to this fact it has also been known as "tango of death". The first version is the most famous, sung by J. Raggi and recorded in Paris in 1927. The second one was sung by Teresa Asprella, also recorded in Paris around 1928-1929. Spanish Odeon 182.122 & Odeon 182.266
